Find builders and trades in Cyprusin your district.
Compare builders in Cyprus alongside the plumbers, electricians, plasterers and roofers who work with them. The cheapest number is rarely the cheapest job, so each trade page is ordered on how much of a listing we hold and can source rather than on how confident the quote sounds.

01What we cover
Fifteen trades.Ranked on what you can check.
Every trade page is ordered on how much of a listing we hold — phone, address, website, named services — rather than on a star rating anyone can buy.

General building
Main contractors who take the whole job — from a blockwork extension to a full rebuild — and coordinate the trades under it.

Plumbing
Leaks, boilers, pressure problems and the replumbing that older Cypriot apartment blocks eventually need.

Electrical work
Certified electricians for faults, consumer units, EV points and the wiring inspections a sale usually triggers.

Plastering
Skim, render and the lime plasters that stone village houses need instead of cement.

Tiling
Floor, wall and wet-room tiling, including the substrate work that decides whether it lasts.

Carpentry
Doors, staircases, fitted storage and the timber pergolas that take a Cypriot summer.
02How this works
One form.Up to five quotes.
Describe the job once and we will gather quotes from companies that actually do this kind of work.
Describe the job
What the work is, which town, and when you want it started. Photographs of the problem carry more than paragraphs do.
Two minutes
Firms who cover it are found
Your description goes to the firms recorded as working in that trade and in that district, with the scope you wrote attached.
Matched by category and district
Quotes arrive
Up to five prices against one specification, so a gap between two of them means a gap in the work being priced.
No obligation
You choose, or you walk
You deal with the firm directly. If none of them convince you, it has cost you nothing beyond the two minutes.

03Builders and trades by district
Trades work locally. So does this site.
A plasterer based in Larnaca will quote you a travel premium for Polis. District and town pages exist so you find the people who are already nearby.

Nicosia
Concrete frames from 1970 to 1995. What is in demand is rebar repair, re-screeding and rewiring to current regulation.

Limassol
More scaffold up than the rest of the island together, and the facade crews worth having are booked out.

Larnaca
Detached housing, built outwards. Extensions, pools and roof plant put groundworks on the critical path.

Paphos
Gradient plots at the end of long driveways. Getting plant to the slab is a line in the quote, not an afterthought.

Famagusta
Everything happens between November and March. In August the trades are idle; in January they are oversubscribed.

Builders in Cyprus: common questions
- How do I find a good builder in Cyprus?
- Check registration before price. Ask for the ETEK number where the work needs a registered professional, then put the same written scope to every builder you approach — most of the gap between two quotes is that they were quoting different jobs.
- How much do builders charge in Cyprus?
- It depends on the trade and the district, and every range we publish says where it came from — either the quotes we collected and how many stood behind the figure, or the published sources it was compiled from and when we read them. A range with no provenance is not much use.
- Do I need a permit for building work in Cyprus?
- Most structural work needs both planning permission and a building permit, and the two are separate applications. Cosmetic work usually does not. The permit guides set out which is which, with the rule each one rests on.
- How many quotes should I get?
- Three at least, five if the job is substantial. Send the same written scope to each so the numbers measure the same work. One form here reaches up to five firms that cover your area.
